The Ravenscroft College Learner Charter sets out the mutual expectations between the College and its learners. It describes what learners can expect from the College and what the College expects from its learners in return.   • A structured virtual learning environment (VLE) with access to course materials, recorded sessions, and learning resources.
  • Scheduled live virtual sessions, individual tutorial support, and regular opportunities for interaction with tutors and peers.
  • Timely and constructive feedback on assessments to support your learning and progression.

Support and Guidance

  • A comprehensive induction programme to help you understand how to access and use the College's systems, resources, and support services.
  • Access to academic and pastoral support, including guidance on study skills, assessment preparation, and personal wellbeing.
  • Clear information about progression pathways, including university top-up and postgraduate options following the completion of your programme.

  • Attend and actively participate in scheduled live sessions, tutorials, and learning activities.
  • Engage regularly with the virtual learning environment, course materials, and set tasks.
  • Submit all assessments by the published deadlines and in accordance with the awarding body's requirements.
  • Communicate promptly with the College if you are experiencing difficulties that may affect your studies.

Academic Integrity

  • Submit work that is your own and properly reference all sources in accordance with the College's academic integrity policy.
  • Do not engage in plagiarism, collusion, or any form of academic misconduct.
  • Respect the intellectual property of the College, its staff, and fellow learners.

Respect and Responsibility

Financial Obligations
